This paper specifically applies to race teams, however other persons interested,
but unable to access the Southern 80 race images via the boats' team members
as setout below are encouraged to view
the above galleries then contact us directly to placing an order.

We do not offer a view by e-mail service as the workload to do this is horrendous
due to the large number of images. More so for our film captures.
However I have found a way ot "Batch" process our Digital captures
only see above Galleries. Sorry no saturday or sunday mornings.
For Boat Teams - In Summary
(a) Wewill be posting sellected photos to your team to you, both Film and
Digital Captures.
(b) You purchase those you wish to keep as per the return reply paid envelope
order form enclosed, and return any photos not required.
DONE It really is that simple.
We are 99% confident of having photographed all boats
and skiers that finished on both days, however they do travel very fast, and
as result occasionally images might be rejected for various reasons. We are
presently waiting for the film to be developed and prints made whereupon we'll
assess exactly what we have captured. We shot using both film and digital
cameras (in 2007); a film camera was shooting all the time on both days and
digital only part time. Hence what you see on the website is from the digital
camera only. Due to the workload involved in scanning and optimizing film
negs to digital, we do not plan to put any film captures up on the website,
save to say, any images that might be selected for Prints
With Race Details ie; poster type application, etc.
Each year when the photographic prints are returned form the lab, we have
the massive task of coding and grouping each and every photo, and the details
recorded to computer, we then check against our records to see if that boat
(customer) has paid their accounts in previous years. (This
process can take a couple of weeks) Attention
as this tricks many; If all's well (in
respect of account overdue) one set of photographs only
per respective boat goes out in the post as per previous years,
to the one and only address as per your (race) entry form details, up
to this stage all without any specific requests required by you the competitors.
A note about payment
For various reasons some boats have overdue accounts, in
which case we strictly DO NOT send any further or future images in
respect to such boats. We reserve the right to retain images, however they
can be made available on a prepaid basis, inclusive of any outstanding accounts.
Should your team not receive any photos soon (no prizes for guessing why).
In the meantime
Please bear with us while we work through the above mentioned work . A single
package will arrive in the mail in the following weeks as per the entry form
address. If this is not yourself, you might be able to anticipate exactly
who will be receiving any photos, we suggest you contact your fellow team
member WHO ENTERED YOUR BOAT for reasons mentioned above and arrange to view
them before he/she pays for or returns un-required photos (as often happens
or hands them on). Note: We do not send out any further
photos unless instructed on the order form by you. Find in the mail
out package an order form, this allows for team members wishing to make further
orders for additional copies (including enlargements) if require. While this
system works for many ski teams, we are aware form experience, that many people
never see them or are even aware we've sent photo's due to the initial recipient,
when others team members wished to inspect them. It is not practical for us
to print off more than one set of prints initially. While the original prints
are suitable for you to retain (ie. Not proofs)
we would be pleased to print additional copies including enlargements specific
per your order.

Should the above system not suit you situation please phone Glenys between
10am and 4.30pm or email us to arrange your preferred options . She can arrange
a special package mailed direct to you. For this to happen we would need to
arrangement for a mailing address and payment method (prepaid,
we can do eftpos over the phone).
